Let us get you acquainted with the not-so-difficult steps of tying the cool Deivao Twist knot which can add grace to your repertoire.

Step-1 Drape the necktie around your collar such that the wide end hangs on your left shoulder and the narrow end is on the right shoulder. This knot is tied using the narrow end thus it should be positioned a few inches longer than the wide end (which is at the level of belt line already).

Step-2 Pinch the fabric of the wide end to create a dimple and cross it over to the right side from underneath the narrow end.

Step-3 Feed the narrow end up through the back of the collar loop on the left side and bring it out on the front of the same side.

Step-4 Bring the narrow end around the back of the forming knot and again feed it up through the collar loop of the right side.

Step-5 Bring the narrow end back down on the same side.

Step-6 Cross the narrow end to the left side from behind the forming knot. Make sure to maintain the tension because this knot uses up a lot of fabric so you don’t want to run out of it in the last few steps.

Step-7 Cross the narrow end to the right side over the front of the knot.

Step-8 Feed the narrow end up through the back of the collar loop on the right side and bring it out on the front. By the end of this step, the narrow end would lie in the right region with the seam facing inward.

Step-9 Bring the narrow end to the left side from underneath the wide end thus creating a small loop on the right side.

Step-10 Feed the narrow end into that loop by bringing it from left to right region over the front of the wide end.

Step-11 Again feed the narrow end through the top of the collar loop and bring it down on the same side.

Step-12 Take the narrow end to the left side from around the back of the knot and feed it up through the previous loop once again. The narrow end would now lie in the right region.

Step-13 Feed the narrow end up through the collar loop and bring it down on the same side again.

Step-14 Take the narrow end around the back of knot one more time and feed it into the loop again.

Step-15 Tuck the remaining narrow end under the collar loop to conceal it.

Step-16 Pull on the wide end to tighten the knot and push it towards the center of the collar.

And you’re done! The steps are simple enough and little practice
